The full title of this volume is:

Together with the Commentary and Notes of Mr. Warburton."  Each volume also contains a number of black and white engraved plates.

This is an extremely early edition of Pope's collected works - the first was published in 1751.

Condition:    Reasonably good considering their age.  We believe the bindings are original and they therefore have heavy wear/rubbing/marking/fading and some damage and loss to the covers, particularly at the corners and spines.  All the hinges are cracked - some quite badly.  One or two pages are loose (but not many).  Internal pages extremely good for their age and are just yellowed to the edges with some minor foxing to very early and late pages.  Bindings tight.  These important volumes fully deserve restoration.
