A scarce copy of this interesting document in Latin. Claims to be a "History of the Britons" and was first written around AD 833. Nennius is claimed to be the author of the volume but, this has been questioned. This edition carries a list of the members of the Historical Society as at 16th May, 1837 - a list including people such as The Duke of Bedford, The Hon. Robert Curzon, John Spencer Stanhope and many, many more. Also includes a number of pages reproduced from the original manuscript.
